hello, neighbor.

About Daly Bread

Daly Bread is a tiny, by-request home bakery in Palm Beach Gardens. A handful of loaves a week, baked in my kitchen for the people I love, wrapped up with a handwritten tag and a little peep of sunshine.

meet Sunny!

Small

Only a few loaves each bake. When they're gone, they're gone, and that's the charm.

Slow

Flour, water, salt and time. Real ingredients, long fermentation, no shortcuts.

Sweet

Splash pad and porch pickups, notes in the bag, and a mascot who is always happy to see you.

My credentials? None.

Hi, I'm Daly DiNatale! I just love to bake, and people tell me it's great. I was giving away 2 loaves a day, and people said they'd start buying it. So here I am!

One thing I am serious about: food safety. After years of working in restaurants, I'm a total nut about it. My kitchen is a clean space, and I wear gloves.

A little ironic, honestly

It's so ironic that I'm baking at all. After working for a gluten-free restaurant for 10 years, I've made the switch and decided gluten isn't the enemy. (That gluten-free restaurant was Bolay, by the way.)

Why "Daly"?

It's a wink at "daily bread," it's my name, and it's a little nod to Daybreak: the same peep of sunshine, just in loaf form. Meet Sunny, our smiling loaf with the sunrise behind him. He goes on every bag, tag and thank-you.

a few words on bread

Give us this day our daily bread.

The Lord's Prayer, Matthew 6:11. The prayer of millions across the world.

I am the bread of life.

Jesus, John 6:35. He said bread of life, not the protein bar of life.
